Fair questions.
How accurate is it?
Close enough to be useful, honest enough to say so: portions are estimates. When the guess is off, fixing it is one tap — and the app learns your usual dishes.
Homemade food? Mixed plates?
Yes. It splits a plate into items and estimates each. Packaged and everyday foods you can also just look up by name in the food database built into the app.
What's free, what's paid?
Free gives you unlimited manual logging and the built-in food database, plus your first five photo scans. Unlimited removes that scan cap — $49.99 a year, starting with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, or $3.99 a week (US prices; local prices vary by country), with the exact price shown in the app before you buy.
Who sees my photos?
Your photo is uploaded to our storage and sent to Google's Gemini API to get recognized. If it shows food, it stays in your log — we don't share it publicly, though what gets recognized also feeds our product analytics. Details in the Privacy Policy.
